For families who choose a traditional burial, Arlington & Elm Lawn Cemeteries offers not only many in-ground interment options but also above-ground entombment in our mausoleum.
Arlington & Elm Lawn allow different options to memorialize your loved one depending on the grave’s section in the park. For veteran memorials, we are more than happy to assist families in obtaining a no-cost bronze plaque from the U.S. Government. Installation fees apply.
TRADITIONAL BURIAL OPTIONS
Traditional burials are priced depending on the location within Arlington & Elm Lawn and whether it is a single or double interment burial:
Full body, with casket, placed in an individual grave. This is the traditional in-ground burial option that most people are familiar with.
Full body, with casket, placed in a granite Private Family Estate, a stately above-ground alternative to ground burial devoted to maintaining the lasting legacy of a single family and typically accommodating between two and twelve people.
- Full body, with casket, placed in a crypt in our Chapel Mausoleum, a beautiful building adjacent to the Elm Lawn office that provides above-ground entombment on the exterior of the building.
TRADITIONAL INDIVIDUAL BURIAL
Our most time-honored burial option may accommodate one traditional full body burial with casket, one traditional burial and one cremation urn, or two cremation urns. If seeking to place an urn above an existing traditional burial, please contact the office regarding special permissions which may be required.
PRIVATE FAMILY ESTATES
Private Family Estates allow families to create a completely unique and beautiful mausoleum crypt structure. Colors, designs and engravings are almost limitless and reflect the legacy of your loved ones. Typical estates consist of anywhere between 2 and 12 resting places for cremated remains or full-body entombments.
MAUSOLEUM CRYPTS
Elm Lawn’s Mausoleum features above-ground entombment in crypts facing either east or west. Our Mausoleum Crypts are located on the outside of our chapel building as you enter the grounds, and have granite fronts that are boldly engraved with loved ones’ names and dates.
