Arlington & Elm Lawn Cemeteries offer several final resting place options for families choosing cremation. Elm Lawn Memorial Park has a beautiful outdoor columbarium composed of granite niches, unique indoor rooms with striking marble niches where cremation urns may be interred, or families may choose from our in-ground burial options.

For veterans choosing in-ground burial, we will happily assist families in obtaining a no-cost bronze plaque from the U. S. Government. Installation fees apply.

Placement in columbarium Niche

Loving Rememberance copy.jpg

Cremation urns may be placed in a columbarium niche in our new columbarium In Loving Remembrance, offering the option of single or companion niches where two urns may be placed together, often chosen by spouses and partners. The beautiful columbarium permanently houses urns outdoors and is the product of a unique all-granite construction complete with two granite shutters for each niche offering maximum protection and elegance.

Each niche may be faced with a bronze memorial plaque cast with the name, year of birth, and year of passing on a stately scroll design.

The interior of a single niche measures 12"x12"x12", and companion niches measure 12”x12”x24”. Despite the durable construction, the niches are affordable and may be purchased with an installment payment agreement. An entombment fee is paid at the time of need, or may also be prearranged with your family service counselor.

Hall of Remembrance

Located next to our columbarium In Loving Remembrance sits the Hall of Remembrance – a beautiful building that houses both niches and full-body crypts.

The Hall of Remembrance features 4 distinct niche rooms: the Onyx Room, Emerald Room, Rose Room and Orchid room. Each room is embellished with a rare marble color, and pricing is dependent on the location within each room. Please contact a Family Service Counselor for pricing and availability.

TRADITIONAL BURIAL OF CREMATION URN

A cremation urn may be buried in a traditional grave space, or in one of our many cremation graves which are available as single or companion graves (can accommodate 2 urns).

If you wish to bury an urn in a grave where a burial has already taken place, you must contact the office to determine if possible, complete the proper documentation, and find out the size and type of urn that can be used. Consult with your Family Counselor at Arlington & Elm Lawn before purchasing an urn if you are choosing an in-ground burial. Please also check with Arlington & Elm Lawn before purchasing an urn vault as not all graves will have the space to accommodate one.
