Granite Memorials
Granite Memorials are flush (lawn-level) memorials that come in various types: Individual, Companion, and Infant.
DESIGN:
Family service counselors will work with you to design your granite memorial using our wide selection of available designs which are permanently sandblasted into the finish. Your design experience includes your choice of memorial design, granite color, and personalized endearment phrase.
You even have the option to add personalized touches to celebrate the passions and beliefs of your loved one using a large selection of emblems, which range from religious symbols to semi trucks and knitting needles. If a black granite marker is selected, we work with an artist who can take a photograph of your loved one and etch it directly on the stone by hand. (Additional costs may apply.)
Pricing:
Memorials are priced by size and come in Individual (24" x 12"), Companion (48" or 42" x 12"), and Infant (18" x 10").
restrictions:
Families designing a memorial in Arlington Cemetery must follow suit with what type of markers have already been set on a family lot.
Memorial design Process
Select a granite color from a wide range of samples.
Select a border and stock design from dozens of available templates that from the simple to the ornate. Many incorporate religious or other touching symbols to frame the writing on the memorial.
Write 3 lines of lettering, which are typically used to engrave your loved one's name, an endearment phrase, and the dates. You may either come with wording prepared or allow an experienced Family Service Counselor to aid you in selecting the perfect phrase. Additional lines may be added for $65 each, space permitting.
Lastly, you have the opportunity to add personal embellishments such as an etched portrait or images showing hobbies and beliefs (additional costs apply).

Celebrate your loved one's memory with a photo-realistic etching. You are able to use your own photo portrait to custom design a personal and meaningful memorial that reflects your loved one's life.
Photos are etched on granite and can be further customized with emblems to reflect the ultimate in personalization. We assist you through the entire process and monitor the design and creation of your memorial through completion.
Location
If you are out of town or out of state, we can assist you in honoring your loved one. Through email we have assisted many families across the country to design their personalized memorial.
Finally, because of our prices, consideration and ease of design, we are happy to assist families in designing a memorial for their family who is buried elsewhere.
